October 2 - 16 Desserts
For two weeks, desserts will be hosted in homes on different dates. The small gatherings will give people opportunities to ask questions of leaders and give feedback.
Tuesdays, 9:30 Prayer Gathering
Guided by he Book of Nehemiah, brief prayer in the church for all aspects of the campaign and construction along.
Sun, October 13, 20, 27, November 3 11:45am Lunch and Learning Ezra/ Nehemiah
Bo and Jan Harris will lead a Bible Study on Ezra Nehemiah During the Exile in Babylon the People of Israel longed to return to their homes and to rebuild the Temple and the walls of the city of Jerusalem. Our study will give us guidance on the building up of our Sanctuary Building and other buildings on the church property. Why does God continually call the people to rebuild the Temple and the walls of Jerusalem?
October 27 3:00-5:00pm Community Open House
Our newly repaired doors will be open wide for friends, neighbors, and community members to enjoy seasonal refreshments and learn more about our buildings and our vision to be a center for hospitality and service.
November 3 Leadership Event
A representative group from our congregation will be asked to make leadership pledges before everyone else to encourage and build momentum.
November 16 Campaign Event
A catered event to which everyone is invited filled with song, stories, special speakers.
November 24 Celebration Worship
On Thanksgiving Sunday we will make our pledges in worship with joy and anticipation
UPDATE JUNE 2014 - THE TOTAL PLEDGES RECEIVED FOR THE THREE YEAR CAMPAIGN SO FAR IS $183,000. Grants from Albany Presbytery, Synod of the Northeast, Aged Women of Washington County along with an interest free loan from Albany Presbytery exceed $100,000.
