Good Neighbors
Good Neighbors is a network of friends and neighbors living in and around Cambridge who want to share time and resources. They seek to weave together the fabric of our community through service and friendship. They welcome and support farm workers in our area through help with transportation, translation and tutoring.

Cambridge Council of Christian Churches

Leaders of many of the churches of Cambridge work together to on projects of common concern. The relationships that are built through prayer and planning provide the foundation for cooperation in living out love for God and others. Sharing event information among the various faith communities opens opportunites for participation across denominational lines.
The C.C.C.C. supports the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. Community outreach has included a week-long summer program for children called Kids Camp, hosting a concert with Isaiah VI at the balloon festival and a Good Friday prayer walk.

Senior Center and Thrift Store

Housed in facilities next to the CUPC campus, the Cambridge Valley Seniors serve the elderly and those in need of practical help. The Senior Center provides lunch Monday through Friday for any area seniors through the Washington County Office of Aging and Disability program for a donation of $3.00. The Center also offers programs of particular interest to seniors throughout the year. For more information, Contact Cathie Brownell at 51-677-8592.
The Thrift store is open for shopping 10-2 Monday through Friday. Donations can be dropped off during that time. Proceeds from the thrift store support the Senior Center's programming

Cambridge Food Pantry

Cambridge Food Pantry,located at 59 South Park Street in Cambridge is presently serving more than 400 households by distributing 18,000 pounds of food. Open on Wednesdays from 1-3 pm, Fridays 4-6 pm, and Saturdays from 11 am -1 pm for food pick up. They also provide a hot meal on Fridays at noon. Guests and volunteers work together building a community of trust and support. Supplemental summer lunches, and school year weekend backpack programs are making sure that no child goes without nutritious foods.
