TASKS
Provide a welcoming atmosphere. Manage all incoming communications including mail, email, and phone by checking messages daily (email and phone) and responding promptly and graciously. Distribute mail and messages to appropriate persons or groups. Maintain office equipment and supplies. Provide office support for elders and deacons as needed.
With Pastor
TERMS AND EXPECTATIONS
This Is a part time salaried position which can be split by more than one person. A typical work week will be 15 hours. During high volume weeks (Advent Easter, Annual Report) additional hours will be required; and compensation time will be provided. Specific times will be determined in conjunction with the Pastor with some flexibility. Salary Range $12-$14,000 depending on experience.

With Pastor
- Produce weekly bulletin and all printed material needed for worship
- Produce weekly PowerPoint for projection during worship
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
- Produce print and electronic content for mailings, annual report, new officer folders, etc.
- maintain church records (membership module and directory in PowerChurch)
- Take minutes at monthly session meetings
- Put together monthly session packets
- Correctly allocate all financial contributions (in PowerChurch)
- Manage the accounts payable, pay bills, allocate expenses, prepare financial statements in PowerChurch
- Process payroll and prepare Employer’s Quarterly Tax Returns (941s) and Annual Reporting
- Prepare yearly office budget
- Support and coordinate with facilities manager scheduling building usage.
- Update calendar of events in Google Calendar
- Upload pictures for gallery
- Keep up-to date on best social media practices
- Produce weekly e-news (currently use Mailchimp)
- Post on Facebook at least 2 times a week.
- Use Front Porch Forum & newspapers to publicize events

- Two weeks of paid vacation/personal days and national holidays that fall on regular workdays
- Accountable to the personnel Committee of session through the pastor as head of staff.
- Quarterly meetings with Personnel Committee in the first year and twice yearly thereafter.
- Termination of employment may occur at any time with a minimum of 1 month notice given by either the session or the office manager.
